Microsoft Outlook Job Aid

Problem(s) this training resolved:


• Recently hired employees who worked as social workers and nurses were unfamiliar with a Microsoft 365 technology environment. These job aids were provided to them so that when necessary they could review how to complete important (but basic) tasks.



Learner Analysis:


1. Learner Characteristics

• Learners were recently-hired employees adjusting to an unfamiliar technology environment.

• Learners have Nursing and social work-backgrounds. Most were unfamiliar with working in an office environment and the associated technology.



2. Learner Motivations:

• A desire to start off "on the right foot" in their new position.

• Improving Work Performance:This training equips learners with knowledge and skills that can make their work easier and more effective



3. Prior Knowledge:

• Participants will receive some limited in-person and virtual instruction to supplement these job aids..



4. Learning Environment:

• These job aids will be printed and included in a binder given to all new hires. Learners will persue these job aids as necessary, both in the office and at home.
